Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actress. Her debut in a feature film was a tiny role on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was approached by a photographer and began to model. Doody then began to build a career of commercial modelling. Doody avoided nude and glamour work, a rule that was carried into her acting. In 1985, after getting noticed by the directors who were casting a James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody made an appearance as a character in John Willis Screen World Volume 2 as one of 12 promising new actors for 1986. 38. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. Following her move to Hollywood Doody was an international star. She went on as Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent as well as girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She was selected as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody's first appearance on the big screen took place in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in a short role. Doody acted alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 TV movie adaptation of King Solomon's Mines and also appeared in a short film called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet that discussed the Holocaust and in the British TV show Waking the Dead (in a two-part episode known as. Doody was cast in Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). Later, she appeared as a guest in RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to star in a 2011 remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way.
